Thanks to its unique, patented, and stepless height adjustment, the babybay® lying surface can be adapted to your needs and the age of your child. The three removable bars allow your child to stand up or crawl into bed independently, without compromising the safety of falling out during the night.
The side rail of the conversion kit can be completely removed on either the left or right side if needed. This allows you to continue using the crib as a bedside crib or to give your older child easy access in and out. The babybay® crib also makes a great addition to any child's room when used as a sofa.
The babybay® cot conversion kit is tested according to the strict DIN EN 716-1 standard for cots and is available in various finishes to match your bedside cot. All finishes are free of harmful substances and solvents, saliva-resistant, and tested according to DIN EN 71 Part 3.
Due to its solid construction, the children's bed can support up to 100 kg and can therefore withstand the weight of an adult. It is made entirely from natural, antibacterial, and antistatic solid beech wood – without compromise, without wood substitutes. The beech wood comes from sustainably managed, local forests.
The set includes the babybay® MediTex® Wave 3D bedside mattress and the MediTex® extra-airy crib mattress – the perfect comfort mattresses with breathable moisture protection are manufactured and tested according to the latest standard DIN EN 16890.
The innovative hygienic cover with MediTex® finish reliably prevents the penetration of dampness and moisture, while remaining breathable – an additional water-repellent cover is not required. The MediTex® finish provides lasting protection against mold and dust mites, is completely free of harmful substances and contains no fungicides or microbicides.
The patented vertical air channels in the open-cell comfort foam core are precisely aligned with the ventilation slots of the babybay® sleeping surface, ensuring optimal oxygen supply and effectively preventing heat build-up. The integrated 3D mesh creates a breathable layer of air that reduces heat and moisture build-up, contributing to a balanced and fresh sleeping environment. The integrated wave contour, combined with the star quilting of the cover, adapts perfectly to your baby's body shape, providing support and promoting deep, restful, and restorative sleep.
The cover can be easily removed thanks to a three-sided zipper and is machine washable up to 60 °C – for maximum hygiene in everyday baby life.
The integrated edges on the outer sides of the mattress core prevent slipping and offer your child optimal safety during their first attempts to stand.
All mattresses are tested for harmful substances and awarded the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class 1 certificate (12.0.03346).
