The babybay mounting brackets are designed for bed frame widths of up to 9 cm. However, we recommend using the babybay extension side for frames wider than 4 cm. This extension bridges bed frames up to 15 cm. The set includes a mattress insert that closes the gap between the babybay and the parent’s bed.

During production, the individual parts are hung up for painting, which creates small holes, and the paint finish around these holes may be slightly uneven. However, since these are located on the underside of the parts, they are no longer visible after assembly.
The small holes on the inside or outside of parts A, B, and C are caused by required safety bolts. These are present in all babybay models and are mandated by TÜV standards. The bolts, which are not always visible, serve for your child’s safety.

The TOG value indicates the thermal resistance of textiles – in other words, how warm a sleeping bag is. TOG values range from 0.5 to 3.5. The thickness of the sleeping bag and your baby’s clothing should match the room temperature where your baby sleeps, not the season. The TOG value helps you choose correctly. The following chart shows which sleeping bag and clothing combination to use.

These are general guidelines. To check if the combination of clothing and sleeping bag is appropriate, feel your baby’s neck. It should be warm but not sweaty or damp. If the neck feels moist, your baby is too warm, and you should adjust the clothing or sleeping bag.
